WE ARE OPEN: Telehealth consults bulk-billed for students and staff

March 30, 2020

UQ Health Care St Lucia remains open and we are bulk-billing telehealth consults for students and staff. This includes mental health consults.

What do I need for a telehealth consult?
Your consult can occur as a regular phone call – no camera necessary in the first instance.

Can I get a prescription through telehealth?
Your doctor may agree to dispatch repeat prescriptions to a pharmacy of your choice, however, new prescriptions and drugs of dependence will not be prescribed in a telehealth consult.

What if I want to see a doctor face to face?
For the safety of you and our team, where possible you will be treated via telehealth consult. However, should your condition require a face to face consult, this may be possible providing you speak with reception prior to arrival.

Please adhere to all safety instructions when attending the clinic.

What about flu vaccines?
Yes, flu vaccines are available now in clinic.

Free campus parking on campus for those attending face to face consults.

Bookings are available now . Book telehealth consults online or P: 3365 6210.
